🎉 Polyversity Week Inauguration at VIT-AP University🎉​, an Umbrella Initiative of upcoming Bharat Blockchain Yatra Season 2.
Polyversity Week at VIT-AP University commenced with an exceptional start as 1000+ participants enrolled for PolySpark, PolySurge, and PolySculpt ignited a spirit of innovation and collaboration among students.​
The inauguration was graced by the presence of Dr. Seelam Venkata Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor, VIT-AP University, who reflected on the collaborative journey between IDS and VIT-AP, and proudly highlighted the establishment of the Center of Excellence in Blockchain at the university. He expressed his delight that the first-ever Polyversity Week was being launched on the VIT-AP campus.​
We were honored by the special presence of Dr. v s kanchana bhaaskaran, Vice Chancellor, VIT Vellore, who attended the event specifically to support this initiative.​
Dr. PRABHA SELVARAJ shared key milestones of IDS’s collaboration with Bharat Blockchain Yatra and announced that over 700 students had actively registered for the week-long celebration. She emphasized the vision behind Polyversity and its role in promoting active student engagement across domains.​
Mr. Voruganti Aravind, Global VP, IDS Inc., delivered the Chief Guest Address, introducing the Polyversity platform. He shared key concepts, existing platforms, and applications in education, work, and entertainment. Additionally, he provided an overview of six avenues, conducted a feature demonstration, and led a virtual campus walkthrough.​
The session titled “PolySculpt – Introduction to Metaverse Ideathon & Themes” featured Dayal Mukati presenting an overview of the four Ideathon themes. Sushmitha Reddy and Nikita Gugale showcased the Polyversity build, offering a comprehensive walkthrough to attendees. Concurrently, Vikash R S was engaged in preparing the VR experience studio, enhancing the immersive aspect of the Polyversity studio Stay tuned as we continue to explore the future of learning through immersive metaverse experiences!
