We successfully concluded the 16th milestone of Bharat Blockchain Yatra organised by Information Data Systems (IDS) powered by Hedera supported by AICTE and APIARY BLOCKCHAIN COE at ITM UNIVERSITY, GWALIOR on 17 February, 2024, marking a significant step in promoting Web3 and Blockchain adoption across India. This transformative effort is more than academia or industry pursuits, it nurtures the next generation of Indian engineers to shape the future of the Internet.
1. The event commenced with a warm welcome and lamp lighting ceremony, setting the stage for a day of knowledge exchange and innovation. Prof. Yogesh Upadhyay, Vice Chancellor of ITM University, provided opening remarks, followed by a keynote address from Dr. Daulat Singh Chauhan, Pro Chancellor, emphasising the significance of Blockchain in the current landscape. Dr. TANIA DAS, faculty members, added to the academic spirit, enriching the event with diverse perspectives.
2. The MOU Exchange Ceremony marked a significant collaboration between IDS and ITM University Gwalior. Mr. Sunil Subrahmanyam Yadavalli Yadavalli, Head of Business Strategy and Partnerships at IDS, emphasised the joint efforts to advance Blockchain education. This included the exchange of MOU with ITM University Gwalior and signing another MOU with the Institute of Technology and Management for value-added courses.

Following these collaborative efforts, Mr. Voruganti Aravind, Global Vice President at Information Data Systems, presented “Unveiling the Real Potential: Blockchain’s Journey from Hype to Value Creation,” providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving narrative of Blockchain technology in India.
4. Next, an Expert Talk titled “Emerging trends, real world applications in Blockchain and Web3” was presented by Mr. Vikram Sharma, Blockchain Practice Leader at HCLTech.
4. Followed by a dynamic Fireside Chat, moderated by Mr. Aravind Voruganti, Global Vice President, engaging in a conversation with expert Mr. Vikram Sharma, offering valuable insights
6. Subsequently, an Activity titled “Discover B-ON: The Bharat Blockchain Developer Portal and Dive into the Hedera Bootcamp” was conducted by Mr. Dayal Mukati, Principal Architect – Blockchain Practice at Information Data Systems.
11. The event concluded with a Gratitude in Action, led by Mr. Sunil Yadavalli, Head of Business Strategy and Partnerships at Information Data Systems and Dr Ranjeet Singh Tomar, Dean Academic, ITM University, which acknowledged the contributions of participants and inspired collaboration for future endeavours.
