“Blockpreneur,” a session on Entrepreneurship opportunities for aspiring student entrepreneurs on 18th May,2024

We are happy to share that the Apiary Centre of Entrepreneurship in Blockchain Technology and Information Data Systems (IDS) organized “Blockpreneur,” a session on Entrepreneurship opportunities for aspiring student entrepreneurs to explore and build on the wave of Web3 and blockchain innovation. 80+ students from 7+ academic partners attended in hybrid mode to gain insights about Apiary’s pre-incubation program targeted at students. During the inaugural session, Chetan Sharma, COO Apiary Accelerator, addressed the students on What is Apiary and its role as a Blockchain Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) powered by STPI – Software Technology Parks of India, MeitY Startup Hub, and Government of Haryana. Followed by the expert speaker of the day, Mr. Voruganti Aravind, our Global Vice President – Blockchain, presented to the students the emergence of Blockchain and the myriad of problems that can be addressed through Blockchain entrepreneurship. Neeraj Kumar, the Joint Director, shared information about the summer pre-incubation program and the process to apply for it. Finally, Director Shri Ashok Gupta addressed the importance of exploring entrepreneurship while in college at the gathering. He inspired the students to commit to solving problems with Blockchain and highlighted the support system available at Apiary, including mentors, industry partners, and seed funding, as students move from pre-incubation to incubation.
